Playful Bear Card
I just discovered Scrappy Dew patterns. I always knew they did great tutorials, but I didn't discover till recently they did paper piecing patterns. They also just hosted a challenge. This is my take on their sketch.
I think it turned out pretty good. I love working with sketches. It makes the creative process so much easier.

Froggy Card
Here's a new project I made using the Feeling Froggy pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. This was so easy to make and I love the way it turned out.

14 Days of Valentines- Candy Heart Valentine with Matching Envelope
Happy Valentine's Day Eve! I hope you already have your gifts purchased. Otherwise, you're going to be wandering around in Wal-Mart with a lot of other confused people. LOL
Sorry I didn't get my project posted yesterday. My baby got a cold and we slept in the chair 2 nights. I use the term "slept" very, very loosely. Anyway, I just wasn't able to get yesterday's project done. I'll make up for it by posting 2 tomorrow.
Today I have for you last week's Build-A-Project from Creative Kuts. I'm late posting it, but I hope the girls from Creative Kuts will forgive me. I bet they will. They're pretty nice people.
This was such an easy set to work with. I'm thinking this would make a darling gift box and card set for someone I know. Might just have to fill it with some goodies and take it to my Momma.
Have a great day and don't forget about my giveaway here.

14 Days of Valentines-You Rock Card
Happy Read in the Bathtub Day! Doesn't that sound like a nice thing to do today? It's cold and overcast here and I'd be glad to sit in the bathtub surrounded by bubbles and read a nice book. Reality is probably going to make that impossible, but that's okay. I'll play with my babies instead. That's nice too.
Okay, today I have a card for which I made the pattern. Be kind. It's my debut into the pattern world. The idea is not original with me. I actually got the idea from a scrapbook magazine and I can see some things I'd like to change, but overall, I think I like it.
Inside the card is a pun. I think the recipient will forgive you for the pun, since it's a candy pun. Pop Rocks. Get it? Ha! Ha! (Aren't you glad I'm not there to elbow you in the ribs as I say this?)
Have a great day and sign up for my giveaway.

14 Days of Valentines- Goin' Retro with a Ransom Note Valentine Card
This week is International Friendship week. I hope you have a good one. I can tell you I've been blessed with several good friends in my lifetime. I hope you have too.
One of the things I love about papercrafts is the ability to take what you have and make something you can use. That's what I'm showing you today. I have a card I gave my hubby for Valentine's Day in 2010. I used leftover letter stickers and made a ransom note Valentine. I crumpled and inked a background page. I wish I had a coffee cup stamp that looked like a coffee cup had been set on it. That would have been cool. Anybody know where to get one?
Have a great day and don't forget to hug your friend today.

14 Days of Valentines-So In Love Card
Welcome to Day 6 of 14 Days of Valentines. This week is Dump Your Significant Jerk Week. I found it on the internet looking for bizarre holidays. Yep, that qualifies. I guess if you're gearing up for Valentines and you can't stand to look across the table at a jerk, you can take this opportunity to dump 'em. The things people come up with! Wow!
I made this card for a card swap in which I'm participating. The pattern is from MyScrapChick. I do love their patterns. I used the same paper I used for the Sweet Cherries Card. Valentine Cards are so fun to make!

Have a great day, y'all!

14 Days of Valentines-My Non-Traditional Valentine Step Card
I bet you thought I forgot about Day 5, huh. If you haven't noticed that I've gone all day without posting day 5, please don't tell me. :-) Today is Weatherperson's day. Have you hugged your Weatherperson today? I'm mad at mine after the rain he sent yesterday!
Anyway, here's my project for today. I know it's not a traditional Valentine card, but I saw the tag and I wanted to use those colors. I used the Valentine SVG's from Art by Annel. You can find it here. It's my first attempt at a step card. It's actually pretty easy to make them. I found a tutorial here.
I love that depending on which direction you turn the card, you see that color.
Here's green:
Here's purple:
See, the fun never ends...or else I'm easily entertained. Yeah, that's probably it.

Have a great day!

14 Days of Valentines- Sweet Cherries Card
Remember how I was telling you I wouldn't mind 6 more weeks of this winter? Well, winter arrived yesterday. No snow, but it's muddy and yucky outside. Perfect crafting weather. It's also Ice Cream for Breakfast day. Don't mind if I do! :-)
Today is Day 4 of 14 Days of Valentines and today I have for you a sweet card. I used the Heart Cherries from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. I also used the Heart Doilies from Designs on Cloud 9. I told you I wanted to use those Heart Doilies.
I'm going to use this card for a card swap I'm participating in. I've never done one before and I'm kind of excited. I'm going to make this card again though, so it is for sale. I can make it in with different colors if you want. It's $3.50, plus $1.50 shipping. Just e-mail me here if you're interested.
Don't forget about my giveaway here.

Tweet on You Card
Well, after a double ear infection for my little guy and many, many sleepless nights, we should be done with sickness for a while...I hope.
My project for you today is an adorable card by Creative Kuts. Every week, they have a Build-A-Project where they give you a paper piecing file for free! All you have to do is like their Facebook page and post your project by 5 p.m. each Sunday. Here's my card for last week.
I just love this file! I inked the green, but it's really hard to see it on here. Just trust me, okay?
I added polka dot paper to the letters. I just love the way the polka dots look!
Here's my half-finished bird. He's missing a little personality, huh?
I attached the bird with pop dots. One more look at the finished product.
Come, play along next week with us. This next week, we're doing the cutest birthday layout. I look forward to showing it to you next week!
